NOW HIRING PROMOTIONS ASSISTANT

PROMOTIONS ASSISTANT (CLUBS)

Reporting to the Promotions Manager/General Manager, the candidate will primarily be responsible for managing our on-the-night street team, to ensure their productivity and efficiency in driving footfall to the venue. Keeping team morale up and ultimately representing the venue in a positive light as the first point of call for customers is essential.

This is a part time position with shifts primarily being at night – ideal to fit around other commitments. Hours can be negotiated for the right candidate, however the basic shift pattern will be two x 4hr night shifts (finishing no later than 02:00) per week, with the opportunity to extend this to four nights a week. There may also arise the opportunity for some occasional office marketing work.

This is truly an exciting time to join our team; following the venue’s extensive refurbishment, we re-open in mid-March with a full calendar of gigs plus the return of our established late night program and the launch of our additional new Wednesday and Thursday club nights.

Start date: mid-March
Salary: competitive basic rate of pay + commission

Person requirements

Essential

  • Reliability
  • A confident, friendly and engaging disposition
  • Proven interest in promotions/marketing
  • A passion for music; in particular clubbing/nightlife
  • Commitment and willingness to working until up to 02:00 and at weekends

 Desirable

  • Experience in managing and motivating a team

Bar Staff

Previous experience in working in a busy bar/club environment is ideal but not compulsory, as full training will be provided. A good knowledge of draught beer and spirits are a plus but a willingness to work hard and get stuck in is even more important!

We are seeking outgoing individuals with a friendly attitude and great people skills. A ‘can-do’ attitude to work is a MUST!

A flexible attitude to work and hours are needed as we are a busy venue, where each week we have busy club nights and live shows. Most shifts will be evenings and weekends.


Bar Supervisors

Previous bar experience and a proven ability to lead a team are essential qualities of this position, as well as a good knowledge of draught beer and spirits and excellent customer service skills.

We are seeking outgoing individuals with a friendly attitude and great people skills.

A flexible attitude to work and hours are needed as we are a busy venue, where each week we have busy club nights and live shows. Most shifts will be evenings and weekends.
