The Turning + LeSpark + The Gramotones + The Tones

Tuesday 8th April 2014, 7:00 pm | 10:30 pm curfew Tickets: £5.00 ADV

The Turning formed in March 2013 and have set a very fast pace since, with some choice gigs in the UK and a tour with the Strypes in England and Ireland. They released a very well received debut EP and a series of You Tube videos (see on www.theturningofficial.com), the next EP release will be in July 2014 and this is their last London headliner until then and likely to sell out, so book now.

The Turning take influence and inspiration from much of the British beat music from the 60s including Motown and Freakbeat bands as well as the Pub Rock scene and Mod Revival of the late 70s and more modern artists such as Miles Kane, The Strypes, The Moons, The Arctic Monkeys many more.

But it is clear that The Turning are developing their own hybrid sound and style that seems to mix a sort of live punk urgency with good melodies, songs and beats that get the crowd moving.

The Turning are a band well started on the road to making some rock and roll history, so catch them early.
