Supacow + The Amber Herd + Red Sky Reunion + The Busker + Fiend Fatale
Supacow was born in Autumn 2013 and come from London and northern Italy. A Four piece guitar band whose sound can be described as “city Rock” thanks to some serious riffs, licks and harmonious melodies. The music is accompanied by some hard hitting lyrics which tackle the perils of city life and its weary 21st century inhabitants. The band released their debut single “Until we get there” in November 2014 and will soon be recording their first EP, due for release in Spring 2015.
The Amber Herd:
The Amber Herd are a five piece post punk/ alt rock band from Nottingham.
They have self-released two double A sided singles and their ‘this town EP’ to date the later receiving some outstanding reviews. The Nottingham-based band have spent the past couple of years playing with support slots for the likes of – Delays, That Petrol Emotion, CUD, Ultrasound, Knifeworld and Jesus Jones- to name but a few at various venues around the country. Also a steady flow of small Festival performances such as Bearded theory and winning the national competition to play at The High Voltage festival in London and last year we were thrilled to be asked by Attila the Stockbroker to play his ‘Glastonwick festival’
Local media has said that The Amber Herd are “a cracking band…one to be watching”, “Nottingham’s best kept secret?” and “Mind blowing!” Over the last couple of years they have received airplay and played live sessions on local radio shows. Along with many online radio plays we also had a segment of ‘Magnolia’ played on the Channel 4 primetime show ‘Hollyoaks’ earlier in 2013. The band have now released their debut album Our Only Eden.
“All in all the EP is a real masterpiece and if you want to make yourself comfortable on a summer evening, with a warm summer breeze and simply listening to music, The Amber Herd will be one of the best recommendations.” Lilly – Static Magazine Germany
“’Nottingham city-based post-punk outfit The Amber Herd – and when we say “post punk”, we mean like the master class of 1984 perfected so vehemently back in the day’”
