All-star power pop rock act The Crunch are poised to release their sensational second album, after winning critical acclaim for the compelling mix of pop hooks and punk grit they served up on 2013’s debut ‘Busy Making Noise’.

Brand new band – The Crunch new record is released on CD, Vinyl and digitally 30/4. The new record retains and builds upon many of the hallmarks established on ‘Busy Making Noise’; most notably an enviable knack for huge, power-pop hooks, and massive, memorable blasts of melody.

Check it out already the 29/4 at The Borderline. You will hear songs from the new album, the first album and also some songs from the members earlier carriers.

The Crunch is frontman Sulo Karlsson (Diamond Dogs), bass Dave Tregunna (Sham 69, Lord of the new church), guitar Mick Geggus (Cockney Rejects), drums Terry Chimes (ex Clash, Black Sabbath, Generation X) and on keyboard and backing vocals Idde Schultz (ex. Docenterna).

“Superpower power-pop” – Record Collector “Sulo’s voice has an enviable jaded grit and Geggus packs a fantastic guitar solo to boot. It’s much more than a super group nostalgia fest, this debut from four old hats is non-stop great riffs awakening your inner punk” – Artrocker “‘Busy Making Noise’ is a collection of party punk anthems and brooding ballads, played with guts, flair and palpable pleasure…there are no duds” – Classic Rock www.thecrunch.se
