Attila the Stockbroker celebrates the publication of his autobiography ‘Arguments Yard’ – published by Cherry Red Books on September 5. With special guests, all featured in the book of course!

Among the special guests are:

NEWTOWN NEUROTICS, Attila’s friends and stage-sharers through the 1980s.

JEREMY HARDY, the radical comedian who he performed regularly with in his early years on the New Variety circuit and who, like Attila, loathes what much corporate ‘comedy’ has become.

STEVE LAMACQ, the hugely influential Radio 1/6 Music DJ who has been a mate for 30 years and was Attila’s roadie for a while in the 80s.

BARNSTORMER, Attila’s ‘medieval punk’ band of 20 years’ standing.

CONTINGENT, the fiery Brussels band Attila played bass for in 1979, just before he started as Attila in 1980. They have now reformed for the occasional gig – first time ever in London.

JANINE BOOTH, one of the original Ranters, now storming the London spoken word scene.

DAVID ROVICS from Portland USA, the Phil Ochs of the modern age, Attila’s good mate and long standing touring partner.

Attila will be reading excerpts from the book in between all this. NB: his band Barnstormer will be on first, circa 7.15, and Steve Lamacq will be Djing from early on too. There’s stacks on so GET THERE EARLY!

Strictly Over 14s, Under 16s with adult (Photographic ID will be required to gain entry regardless of advance ticket purchase.)
