Lisa Ronson – Debut Solo Album Launch plus special guest Morgan Fisher + Vita and The Vicious
Following the success of, and critical acclaim for, her solo single ‘Shopping & F’ in 2014, London-based New York singer Lisa Ronson launches her debut solo album at the Borderline. Ronson’s rare sound is a dynamic convergence of synth pop and alternative rock with dystopian and existentialist lyrics. The band includes guitarist and programmer Paul Cuddeford (Ian Hunter/Bob Geldof) and saxophone player Terry Edwards (PJ Harvey, Gallon Drunk, Yoko Ono).
Before relocating to London in 2012, Lisa Ronson was a member of the New York art pop band ‘The Secret History’, releasing two albums with them. Lisa is currently working with ‘Tony Visconti & Woody Woodmansey’s Holy Holy with Glenn Gregory and Steve Norman’ performing Bowie’s seminal The Man Who Sold The World album live.
Morgan Fisher, keyboard player in Love Affair, Mott The Hoople, British Lions and Queen, will make a special guest appearance with Lisa Ronson at her debut solo album launch on Tuesday 15 September at the Borderline.
