Separately they are dynamite: having them appear together in this brilliant young Blues Double Bill will be twice as good!

Samantha Fish

Kansas City-based Samantha Fish has been on a major roll ever since she teamed up with Cassie Taylor and Dani Wilde for Girls with Guitars, and fuelled by the trio’s Blues Caravan tour of Europe and the USA, created a huge international buzz in the Blues world. Later that same year she recorded Runaway, her solo debut on Ruf. Hitting a receptive international Blues and Rock music press, Runaway was hailed as a thrilling opening statement, earning a string of rave reviews and radio airplay, climaxed by her winning the Blues Music Award as Best New Artist Debut.

Laurence Jones

Named Young Artist of the Year at the last British Blues Awards, the young hotshot British bandleader rarely stops for breath. There’s been the release of his all-conquering 2014 album,Temptation. The triumphant Blues Caravan tour that saw him raise roofs across Europe. The auspicious nod to represent the UK at this year’s European Blues Challenge, and appearing at the Albert Hall with Van Morrison and others for the Leadbelly Festival. At this juncture, a less passionate artist might cool their heels and count their royalties. No chance. Saviour of the British Blues scene is not a position for part-timers, and in 2015, Laurence is back with his stunning third album, What’s It Gonna Be.
