The Prophets + Everyday Sidekicks + Small Pond Big Fish + Cat Bear Tree
Coventry quartet The Prophets [Kate Thompson, Dom Hodgkins, Nathan Gummery and Kris Sharry] play their debut headline show in London alongside the launch of their hotly-anticipated second EP.
The band, who won first place at Coventry’s Godiva Calling competition in 2014, played the main stage at Godiva Festival in July this year, and have previously shared stages with the likes of Tonight Alive, Neck Deep and Funeral For A Friend.
With endearing grit and all around rough edges, shout-along choruses and gulf-sized hooks, the new generation of Post Hardcore is here. The band’s new EP ‘The Things I’ve Seen’ is out on November 20th.
Small Pond Big Fish
After a sell out show at the Garage2 Islington earlier this year, Small Pond Big Fish return to London for another jam packed show this Autumn! The band released their latest E.P ‘Close My Eyes’ early this year backed by a successful UK tour and upgraded lineup and look to maintain their momentum heading towards the end of the year.
Drawing inspiration from bands such as Paramore, PVRIS and Issues this female-fronted pop-punk band also look to introduce new sounds to the genre and continue to establish their name in the industry. Expect their A game come showtime, with an inspired energy that is always present. This is a show not to be missed!
Cat Bear Tree
Veering somewhere between DIY punk and indie-pop, Cat Bear Tree pull varied influence from the likes of Sleater-Kinney, Bloc Party, Bikini Kill and Electrelane.
Writing and recording together since 2011, Zoe Konez (guitar and vocals), Claudia Mansaray (bass and vocals) and Sarah Smith (drums and vocals) have been busy building a dedicated following, whilst cementing their place in the list of new generation bands to look out for. They will be releasing their much anticipated second EP in October 2015.
