Guitarist/singer/songwriter Chris Spedding has been a mainstay of the British session scene since the late 1960s, playing with just about everyone from Nucleus, Jack Bruce, John Cale, Elton John, and Mike Batt, to Paul McCartney, Roy Harper, Bryan Ferry, The Sex Pistols, and The Bay City Rollers (anonymously!). In 1975 he had a hit record called Motorbikin’.

During 1972–74, Spedding played a central role in Sharks, initially with former Free bassist Andy Fraser.
