Editselect are a 4-piece alternative indie rock band from South East London, formed in 2007 by Matt Stolworthy (vocals/guitar).

The band had numerous incarnations over the following years. The addition of Sam Ayling (guitar) and Charlie Creese (bass) in 2012 prompted a radical change in the band’s musical direction.

Editselect released their debut EP ‘Lungs’ in November 2013. The EP’s title track received airplay on XFM, BBC Radio 2, BBC London and BBC Kent, as well as praise from influential DJs including John Kennedy and Dermot O’Leary.

They have toured widely across the UK and Europe, playing at festivals including Brownstock, Jamie Oliver’s Big Feastival, Guilfest, Eurosonic and Reeperbahn, and prestigious London venues Scala, Indig02, the 02’s Brooklyn Bowl and the Camden Barfly. The band has supported Catfish & the Bottlemen, The Holloways and Art Brut, and played at after-show parties for Franz Ferdinand, The Maccabees and Bombay Bicycle Club.

Editselect have picked up recommendations for their visceral live performances from The Roundhouse, Hard Rock Records, The Fly, and Redstripe Music Awards.

With the addition of Tim Robins (drums) in late 2015, Editselect are now set to release their 2nd EP, ‘All My Gold’. Recorded at bassist Charlie’s self-built studio in the depths of Kent, the new material matches an apocalyptic lyrical vision- with a more densely layered, aggressive musical experience.
