Parade Of Lights
As many of you know we are currently writing and recording new music for our next album. Because of the demands our recording schedule for the next three months, we are regretfully canceling the bulk of our European tour this August. We will still be performing at the Arenal Sound Festival in Burriana Spain on August 5.
While we were very excited to perform in the UK, Germany and Holland and meet all of our fans at those shows, it would be detrimental to the recording process and the release timeline for the new music to take several weeks away from the studio in August.
We are very sorry to our fans that we have disappointed with this decision and look forward to making it up to you with a future European tour as soon as we can.
Los Angeles based alt-electro four-piece Parade of Lights have announced their first European tour including four UK dates this August.
Best known for the title track to their 2015 debut Astralwerks album, “Feeling Electric,” which was featured in EA Sports’ FIFA 16 game, Parade of Lights have toured extensively throughout the US as a headliner and supporting act for artists such as Imagine Dragons, X Ambassadors, Awolnation, and Fitz & The Tantrums. Their song “Golden” from the album has been streamed more than 4 million times on Spotify and featured in television campaigns for the Super Bowl, Oscars, and Grammys.
Formed in 2010 by singer/guitarist Ryan Daly, drummer Anthony Improgo and bassist Randy Schulte, PoL added keyboardist Michelle Ashley in 2013 and signed with Astralwerks later that year after their independent single “We’re the Kids” received radio play at influential stations in the US.
Self-proclaimed “360 Artists,” Parade of Lights write and produce their songs; produce their lyric videos and social video content; and do their own graphic design both online and for merchandise. The band has also done remixes for well-known artists like The Kooks, Grizfolk and Lady Antebellum.
Currently, PoL are in the studio working on their second full length album. It will be their fourth release following “Feeling Electric,” 2014’s “Golden” EP and their debut 2012 independent EP “Born to Live, Born to Love.”
Preceding their UK dates, the band will play Arenal Sound Festival in Spain, sharing the stage with the likes of The 1975, as well as a handful of intimate shows in Germany.
