Last year was anything but quiet for Australian prog-wizard PLINI, with a slew of sold-out headlining shows around Australia, invitations to join ANIMALS AS LEADERS and INTERVALS on massive club & festival tours of both Europe and North America, and releasing his critically-acclaimed debut album “HANDMADE CITIES” – described by STEVE VAI as “one of the finest, forward thinking, melodic, rhythmically and harmonically deep, evolution of rock/metal instrumental guitar records I have ever heard.”

PLINI will return to European shores this March and April to make his headlining debut, bringing in tow fellow progressive music luminaries DISPERSE (Poland/UK) and DAVID MAXIM MICIC (Serbia). PLINI and co. will treat crowds to an evening of progressive music performed with some of Australia’s finest young musicians — including drum-sensation TROY WRIGHT and members of Australian tech-shredders THE HELIX NEBULA.

Few young bands display such extreme technical prowess as DISPERSE, but their road to success has been more notably paved with their rare knack for great song-writing and this is exactly what the quartet is delivering on its forthcoming third full-length record “FOREWORD” (out February 24th via Seasons of Mist). DISPERSE manage to make complexity appear easy and add an incredible lightness to cascading syncopated breaks, odd-time signatures and all the tools of the trade that are considered as essentials for progressive music.

Compositional-mastermind DAVID MAXIM MICIC has made a name from himself via a number of EPs under the project-name “BILO”, as well as his band DESTINY POTATO. Taking his solo material on tour for the first time, his seamless blend of modern progressive metal, experimental, electronic, orchestral, folk musics is guaranteed to boggle the mind & warm the heart.

Before each show, you can attend a one-hour long Masterclass and Q&A session with PLINI, tailored to the interests of the group and covering anything from composition & guitar techniques to touring & building a career as an independent musician.
